Welcome to the WM Safety Portal

This portal is an integral part of WM’s efforts to ensure a safe workplace for all contractors and employees working at WM sites.

The Guide for Contractor Managers will help you ensure that your employees: complete assigned courses, obtain site-specific rules for WM sites where they will be performing work, and receive a photo ID Card.

The contractor employee ID card displays the employee’s compliance expiration date. This will allow WM site personnel to quickly determine the contractor employee’s CSO compliance status. Contractors are required to retake their courses ANNUALLY. Their compliance expiration date will extend by 1 year from the date of confirmed course completion.

For WM Managers

The WM Safety Portal will provide you with the necessary information, documents, tasks, training and access management tools necessary to complete the requirements of WM's Environmental, Health and Safety programs.

You should have received your login credentials from Safety Services. Please contact that office if you need credentials and have not received them.

For Contractors

Every contractor company that wishes to do business with WM must first register.

If you need to register your company, click Register.

After registering your company, you must register all employees you intend to send to WM sites. Once registered, you must ensure those employees complete a site-specific Contractor Safety Orientation for the WM site(s) where they will be performing work.
